For my Prototyping II class, I was instructed to create a series of design concepts based on examples discussed in lectures. This assignment focused on applying core design elements such as color palettes, typography, and overall visual theme and structure. Each design presents a single concept page intended to highlight and showcase these design decisions clearly and intentionally.

Project 1: Jewelry Page

This specific page from 777 Collection represents a shopping page for jewelry. It features warm tones to make the site feel elegant while also maintaining an inviting feeling. The site provides a navigation bar comprised of different sections such as products, store locations, services, and a point of contact. The navigation bar also includes a search tool alongside a shopping basket and a profile button. The cards are designed angularly to make the website feel luxurious and stylish.

Project 2: Social Media Page

About the Design

SmarTracker is a social media concept combining elements from Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. It features an “about” section with a profile picture, a navigation bar for the user’s account, content feed, contacts, and previous search history. On the user’s account page, it shows their previous posts, likes, and reposts. SmarTracker has an overall techy and futuristic feel with dark background tones and bright teal accents while also maintaining professional look.

Project 3: Food Review Page

Carnival Eats showcases a food review page concept devoted to carnival food items. This page provides a playful feel with bright colors and rounded corners of the cards. The left side of the page shows a few food favorites, while the right side offers reviews of the establishment itself.
